Mike Huckabee, Christian and Diane Sawyer

First let me say i do not like Mike Huckabee for President. He is far too open borders for me and I really think the guy that comes out strong on the illegals will be the one to win the election. But with that said lets move to my point. I woke up this morning and Diane Sawyer and Newt were on GMA today and Ms Sawyer was sitting there outraged the Mike Huckabee dared to say he is a Christian and she seemed to try to want to lead Newt down the road to say how he too was outraged. How dare he.

So here's my note for Diane Sawyer.

Ms. Sawyer although you want to tout how religiously diverse this country is and offer your shock that anyone would publicly identify themselves as christian, 90 percent of the country believes in God and 80 percent of the country identify themselves as christian. As the secular progressives, code words for AKA communists, what to try to strip our christian roots everyday, I applaud a person that is willing to stand up and say hey there I an Christian and it is the guiding principle of my life.

In a brief reminder of history, the new world was founded by Christians looking to escape persecution. This country's was fundamentally founded by Christians looking to escape the problems of the Catholic Church. It was Methodists, Lutherans and Quakers who founded this country and wrote the Declaration of Independence and Constitution which gives you the podiums for your outrage. They are not characters in the Davinci code, and a caricature on a oatmeal box. Oddly for a country who was founded to escape persecution we seem to want to forget that when we want to chide a Presidential candidate for identifying himself as one. Bet you were shocked at the latest Rasmussen pole that said 70 percent want to hear Merry Christmas not Happy Holidays.

In the end Ms. Sawyer the hand ringing that you were doing that Mr. Huckabee might offend someone is silly. He may offend 10 percent and frankly, that's odds i would take. The problem I see is the fact that you or any other person would even have an issue with someone running an add saying he is a Christian. If he said he was pro-choice or anti-gun he would of been a hero. But gasp, he's a Christian. What is this world coming to.

Bottom line, if you don't like don't vote for the guy. Shelve the outrage, his ad wasn't speaking to you anyway, or so it would seem.

And on a side note, good job Newt not answering her chiding remarks.

The Single Darkest Day in the History of the US.

Today as I write is the darkest day in the history of America. I can no longer call it the United States, because frankly we aren't very united anymore. Today the congress, including the newly elected blue dog dems, have undercut and undermined the troops and in fact the once great United States of America.

As I sit here on this Friday night wondering what happened to my country. I for the life of me don't how the democrats don't understand what the realities of Iraq are. I don't understand how if I have known and fully understand that people are flooding into Iraq to meet our Army, keeping the war off the streets of America. I had wrote an article for this website almost 2 years ago that said the same thing. We put the Army in Iraq as a bulls eye. Anyone who doesn't understand that, I have to question their mental capacity to be a Congressmen.

This spin for the civil war is inaccurate. The media has demonstrated that they don't' even know who is on what side of the war. They fail to acknowledge that the Iran is sending weaponry into Iraq and that's some has ties to the government of the Iran.

I never thought we would ever see a day where the Congress of the US would ever publicly side with the enemy one that means us so much harm.

But here's my questions to those who voted against this. I doubt any will answer honestly but here they are.

1. Do you understand that Iraq is the 'battlefield' and every terrorist is meeting us there instead of here?
2. What actions do you plan to take when terrorists come to the shores of the US? Do you plan to protect us.
3. Having now turned your back on the soldiers and derailed the defenses of this country, how to you plan to keep us safe?

For every democrat that ran for congress saying they would not cut and run, I hope your constituents hold you accountable. They probably won't and that's the problem. They were willing to do anything to get in office even selling their own country and its defenses down the river.

I am ashamed of the congress. I am ashamed of the Media in the US who refuses to report the truth and I am ashamed of every citizen in this country that is to busy to find out the facts on their own and let these people into power. Most of all we have stood the war of the states, and communism and become the worlds lone superpower. We are being destroyed from with in.

I never did understand how the Germany Europe and the world did not see the evils of Hitler and how they just 'let him go' until a world war develop. Unfortunately we are watching it unfold in front of ours. Newt said it first and i will say it repeatedly. We were late to the last 2 world wars and first to this one. Its really sad that our congress doesn't understand that in the quest to hate Bush and pull the rug out from under him, they have pulled the rug out from under him, the military, the security of the public at large and most of all they have pulled the Constitution out from under the foundation of the country.

I watched Rudy on Hannity and he answered the issues to evangelicals just as they should be answered. The argument for abortion belongs with the states. And he will elected judges that are constitutionalists who understand that they don't write things into the Constitution that aren't there. Like Justice Roberts. And like Justice Alito. What that would mean is one more Conservative justice and hopefully Roe v Wade goes back to the states, where it should be. More conservative states, Red States can make all the pro life laws they would like. All the blue states can make all the pro choice laws it wants. And that is EXACTLY how the constitution was written and should work.

So enough on this.

So what did you all think of Chris Matthews today. Using the F word saying he wants someone who doesn't own a F**ing ranch. Super Chrissy, show us how shallow you really are. But alas does he know that ole John Edwards just built a huge ranch. Guess what Democrats own ranches too. And although New York was a great place to live. But maybe Imus himself said it best. Does anyone even watch your show. Since this distinctive turn to the left MSNBC has become virtually unwatchable. The discussions are based on inaccurate information, not even information that is spun, but flat out inaccuracies. So who's side is Iran on in Iraq. Its the Sunni's right. Well according to Keith Oberman it is.

Superbowl Ads.

I have to say i am really really disappointed with them this year and there aren't any that i can even say are good. But I want to take a minute to point out the bad.

The one that said hand bump was out and smacking people is in. No not really. We are going to have kids now smacking each other not getting that it was a joke. So where is the outrage from the libs who want to enact anti smacking and spanking laws, Joy Behar where are you.

Next, the drill gun that commits suicide. Another fine message to send about how you commit suicide and you actually wake up from that ...All this during a family football game.

And then there is GoDaddy that just ran a porno ad. I'm not a prude but white stuff being shot at a woman in a little t-shirt sounds like something you see on skin-a-max and not during a Superbowl. I found this one just flat out disgusting and denigrating to women, again no outrage from the libs. I personally would never use them before this ad and now to show how they think their company should be view, I wouldn't use them if they were the last webhost on earth.

However, last but not least. The snickers ad. At least the Gays are consistant and are not upset with snickers for what they are calling a blatantly hate ad showing disdain for them. Me, personally I'll never eat a snickers bar again.

In Defense of Rudy
I've noticed of late much discussion on Rudy Giuliani. As i want to remind many of you although I live in Texas now and have for the last 17 years, I spent the first 23 years of my life 25 minutes outside of NYC. I was raised on Giuliani, where he has been on the political canvas there for many since i was small. I think the guy is great.The clatter about Rudy is regarding social issues and his lack of conservatism. But what i want to talk about is how the country and the constitution are set up. The federal goverment was set up for a common defense and commerce management. It was not set up for health care or education, or social security, basically weatlh redistribution plans. So how does Rudy fit in.Well presently we are in the middle of a war that i believe is necessary and one we must win. I will save my views on the Civil War illusion for a different article. We need a strong President that will continue on our present road, not one that spews the same mantra as Osama (not to be confused with obama). This is the single most important issue of our time. There is no person with a D after their name that will lead the US to anything but a defeat. Listen to them if you think that is an unfounded statement.So lets get back to the constitution and how it fits in for Rudy. As conservative we should want a president that is a constitutionalist. What that means is i don't really care what social issues Giuliani is for. If he doesn't try to enact laws that undercut the states rights to make their own social agendas. And if i was him that's what i would be saying. I maybe be pro choice but its not a federal issue and I will support Judges who correctly rule on constitutional issues. Correctly ruling on the constitution would over turn Roe v Wade and put the abortion discussion back in state hands, not a federal manadate.This is just one example. But lets face it, Giuliani is the only person out there that can defeat Hillary and although i do believe Newt is probabally the better person for the job, he does not have the ability to win. The Gingrich who stole christmas was pretty much the nail in the coffin.Someday maybe the Republicans will get it. You need to field viable candidates and you have to go to the polls and vote for them even if you don't agree with them on every point. Reason why you do that is because when you don't you get Nancy Pelosi, fairness doctorine and a daily telegraphing to the enemy to keep up the good work. And the next election Hillary Clinton in the Whitehouse.

The real Reason the Pubbies lost

I hope this message makes it across the blogosphere loud and clear. The Pubbies lost because of immigration. Not because of the war and not because Americans wanted change. So what would provoke me to making such a grand statement and making it so infatically.

Okay so lets see what happened in the US in the last 6 months. We have illegal people marching around our country waiving flags of other countries, demanding rights. Don't think for one minute that didn't run up the backs of every American out there. Okay okay i hear it now. I am another biggoted right wing hate mongering...blah blah. You might want to reconsider that stereotype. I am a naturalized American citizen. I am a citizen that values their immigration status and I am so greatful that you all allowed me into this country LEGALLY! But I want to be an American.

Yesterday i was listening to Newt Gingrich speak on the subject and he said something that really stuck home and before everyone, including the President get carried away with Iraq being the cause. You better consider this. Gingrich's message was strong. Basically if you look at the people that were elected were CONSERVATIVE Democrats that promised to ENFORCE immigration laws. Not grant amnesty not let them in in droves, but sending them back. How unique enforce the law and not change the law to validate illegal behavior.

Gingrich went on to say to give these individuals a chance that if they vote with the Pubbies that are left in Congress, Conservatives win. But as i sat listening to him, what struck a cord was this. I myself split my republican ticket here on the texas ballot because i don't feel our Gov. Rick Perry has any interest in protecting the border of texas. So I needed to vote for someone who would. Perry, went from 70 percent win last time to 38 percent this time. That message is pretty clear. 60+ percent of Texans felt that someone other than Perry would better protect their interests.

So if I, a very far right Republican could vote for an ultra liberal Kinky Freeman on the issue of immigration soley, why could not 30 other voting districts and 4 0ther states base their vote the same way. Furthermore had I not had immigration champion Ted Poe as my congressman, he too would not have gotten my vote.

People are flat sick of illegals. Not because we are biggoted or racists as some would assert. They are sick of them because they have blatent disregard for our country. They are not here because they want to be Americans. They want to be Mexicans. There is a blatent disregard for our rule of law from the second they step in the country. There is a disregard for our culture and our citizens. Look at crime rates, and prision populations. And although everyone thinks we the voting public is stupid, as apathetic as we may be we all know that we can't even get an order of chicken mcnuggets at McDonalds without having to know Spanish to communicate with the people in the drive though window.

So i think Newt is right. The perception of the country was the Congress, both houses were unwilling to do something about Immigration. And although, those more educated in the way the government works know that the congress did pass a bill the protected the citizens and not big businessa and big labor. The senate and the President didn't agree. And here in lies the canundrum. So the public did the only thing it could do, vote the bums out.

Now I'm sure that there is a certian percentage voted because of the war issues. But in the end as myopic as i can be at times, I do think the American public understand that Iraq, although not going well is important to our security.

Notice to the Dems, this was not about iraq as much as you and the liberal media and now our enemies, want to past this as such. It was about a horrific invasion that is affecting all facets of
American life. Jobs, Health Care Wages Education. Its destroying them all and if the politicians don't know it the public does.

Bait and Switch is Now Duck and cover

I can only hope the BlueDog Dems are going to stay what they are and stay true to their priciples but so far all over my screen is Jack Murtha and his cut and run strategy, Joe Biden saying Joh Bolton will never be Ambassador.

I've yet to hear a plan, or better yet a viable plan, is the better way of saying this. Their plan is to prove that Bush is the problem. And while they are attempting to prove that, the muslims are dancing in the street. Al-sader is the happiest guy on the planet. Iran is saying it proves that they are right that the US is evil. Does this not tell anyone anything. The enemies of this country are so happy with this decision.

I hope every person that voted these folks in is now seeing what they are made of and its only going to get worse. I hope that every Republican that stayed home and didn't vote (1500 in Montana and 7000 in Virgina) are happy. For every Republican that voted democrate to teach them a lesson I hope you are so pleased. I hope you are happy we are getting 12 million more citizens with a stroke of pen, something that spits on my naturalization paper and spits on every person that ever died defending this country. Because there is no one stopping it.

How much damange can they do in 2 years, do we not learn. We said the same thing with Bill Clinton. I wonder how much damage the 3200 families on 9/11 feel.

I've decided that i have a duty to every day call out the corruption hypocripsy and teasonist behavior of these people. If the Bluedogs don't go there and bring the nancy pelosi back to the center then i will be on them every day as well. It remains to be seen if purposely misled your districts or if you can stick to your principles. I suspect you will not. Prove me wrong because you are the only hope of this country for the next two years.

2006 Mid Terms Bait and Switch

I can't even begin to tell aggravated i am this evening. Democrats running on conservative ideas only then to reassess their alliance and stand with the far left rot of this part. I don't need to remind you of their names i suppose. Pelosi, Kennedy, Kerry, Boxer and so on. That's the shame of it is this, people voted based on a principle. I just sat and listened to how a ultra conservative democrat who just won has told his people he can't decide if he's voting for Nancy Pelosi, but now that he's won he is assessing his need to vote for Pelosi. Now on top of it all Bill Krystal is saying that the Dems have adjusted. I don't think they have adjusted. I think they have bamboozled. Approached and run conservative democrats and then when they arrive to serve their team they are now voting with the far left.
I am having trouble wrapping my head around this. Is it immigration. I just read an article from someone that said now the President can get what he wants. Amnesty for illegal Mexicans. The fact that anyone can even say this is a bit concerning.
Then there is Iraq, i challenge anyone to tell me this what different can we do in Iraq. The answer is nothing, unless the dems are willing to do this, send more troops. And then of course i have to say this. I barely and I mean barely remember Vietnam. But it seems to be a culture that has been revisited in these last few years. Quagmire. I keep hearing that word. And although i don't think it does a thing for people of my generation, it does for those older than us that are now in the 50s and 60s. But Iraq isn't Vietnam. Its not even close.
I do wish the president would have recognized it is his job to help the people understand Iraq. I wish he felt us worthy to get out and come talk to us to tell us what the more informed of us know. That Iraq is important for us to work from. It allows us to have a way to protect not only Israel but also Europe. This is so strategically critical. But I'm not sure the general public knows that Iran can reach Europe with a nuclear bomb and they are about 12 hours away from having one, the time it would take for North Korea to mail them one.
The media in this country has demonstrated that they are now a free voice for Democratic party. Chris Mathews, Keith Oberman, Matt Lauer, Katie Couric no longer make any pretense of being objective. MSNBC has been running a telethon since Dan Abrahms has taken over for the democrat.
Most of all i think this is a sad day. I think they are dancing on the West Bank, in Syria and although it would seem that Americans voted with a pre 9-11 mindset. This is a post 9-11 world and although it remains to be seen the biggest winner of the 2006 mid-terms is the islamo fascists that want to end our way of life and our freedoms.
It truly is a sad day.
Addendum,
it is 11:57 here and election day is not even over and they are already starting.
Now they are saying John Murtha the traitor is now going to be put in charge of the spending of the Iraq war. Jack Murtha, the poster boy for anti-war, anti troop rehtoric is now responsible for funding this. . And so it begins.
God Please help our troops and help our country. We are all going to need the help.

Phew We Made It Through

So how are you all today? Did you all make it though yesterday? I know it was hard. I didn't even notice anything different. Yesterday was just like every other day. Only one thing, ready, the backlash now grows.

If I was not furious before, seeing more people parading though the streets of the US with Mexican flags only further made me angry. Seeing people parade though the streets when they don't have the right to protest that is provided to LEGAL citizen in this country. The Constitution provides right to LEGAL Citizens. But you know, I can't help but think I'm not the only one. You know it was funny my sister called me yesterday to ask if we get the day off of work, after all I'm an immigrant. We had a good laugh as did my dad who worked for seven years to allow me to have the benefits of this fine country.

So how did yesterday impact us, well no impact here, but it did teach me something. It taught me all the businesses around me that i won't be visiting any more. It reminded me that my next vacation will not be to Mexico because if they want to play the boycott game I can play it too. I won't be buying a new home. I will be quizzing my lawn service, and if they are hiring illegals then i will mow the lawn myself. I won't be going to any mom and pop mexican restaurants here either. They pushed this citizen and LEGAL immigrant too far. So now i push back.

I hope all members of the VRWC also do the same. Its apparent our lawmakers are turning a deaf ear to 80 percent of the public. So maybe we can work on solving this ourselves. If you don't support business that hires illegals, there won't be jobs and there for no for this invasion to continue.

And the beat goes on. So come Monday 5/1 we are subject to more people marching because lawbreakers, otherwise know as illegal aliens can't have drivers licenses. Lets talk about that. And by way of a reminder, I am a naturalized American Citizen that followed the law and came though the system legally. I am adamantly opposed to those who are here illegally. Its an insult to every person that came though INS legally.

If we give licenses to these people, we have completely corrupted the voting system in this country. The motor voter law, or the states that as long as you have a valid license to vote will now extend the vote to people that aren't even citizens.

Next, I'm am completely offended by the "Spanish" version of our national anthem. In fact, I'm outraged. How disrespectful. What a way to demonstrate what this is all about. Thumbing their noses at the United States. And further more, it only shows the mindset of these folks. They aren't coming to learn the national anthem. No other group has EVER done this. They were proud to be Americans and wanted to sing the National Anthem in English.

Lastly, I'm getting very disheartened with the President. First, he says its not feasible for a mass deportation. Well I say its NOT an option to legalize them or we are going to have 1/2 of Mexico coming here. Naturalized Citizens can bring their families here:
Well here's some ideas on how to fix it.

-No undocumented persons should NOT receive any type of welfare, be allowed to live in government housing or receive any type of tax payer assistance. Undocumented childrens should not be enrolled in the public school systems. I live in a city that doesn't ask, they just let these people attend our schools.
-Go after employers. Fine them, we go after businesses harder for income tax problems than we do hiring illegal aliens. Only 4 companies were fined last year for hiring illegals.
Or go to plan B. lets fix the immigration and energy problems. Annex Mexico, build refineries there, it employs the people they claim they have no job and we produce the gas to lower the gas prices.

I really just feel this is spiraling out of control. I don't even know what country i live in any more. And there is absolutely no leadership in Washington any more. Not from the Democrats, although I don't expect them to, they are far too corrupt. And not from the Republican, because they are far to weak. So as a result, we are being invaded, no one seems to care, except 80 percent of the Americans that Washington seems to have forgotten about.

The money for the ports: where is it coming from

Well we've heard for days how we all suffer from islamophobia and just as i was starting to waffle a tad on this issue something slapped me in the face again. Where is the money coming from.Well my understanding is UAE just doesn't have the money and they are going to need financing for this deal on the world capital markets.

On the surface that seems fine until I stop and think for just a minute. Who might we know that has billions of dollars. well yeah George Soros, Bill Gates but its not them. Guess Again.How about Osama Bin Laden. So with no financing in place, what is to stop OBL from helping finance this deal. And what is to stop him from actively participating in the participation of this. What stops him from helping fund this on the sly that its not readily traced back to him.

Okay so maybe this is reaching maybe its not. But frankly the fact that i can think of this as being a reason is why not to do this makes me wonder if the President has thought of this. Although i can't honestly say that i think he knew about this until it exploded all over talk radio.

I do understand that the left is politically motivated in this on many levels. I realize that there is a lot of misinformation out there on this, but that's from both sides. But maybe the biggest question I have is who did not see political fall out from this coming. And that this would be an issue that if it came out, which it did, would have many people up in arms and allow the left to use this issue to their advantage. Maybe this point bugs me most of all.

And so it goes, the company is now offering to delay this. The President now seems to be saying that he 'might' agree to look this over. So maybe just maybe some progress is being made. But most of all I do thing that Karl Rove will have a long fight to wipe this one out of the back of American minds and possibly that was the biggest damage to national security because the democrats have long proved they don't understand how to keep America safe. And I hope someone realizes that before its too late.

Okay so here's the deal six US ports have had their security outsourced. But its not just any old outsourcing its outsourcing to the United American Emirates. This is not just any country. Its is the country where 9-11 hijackers hail from. Its where the USS Cole Bomber walked the streets. So what's wrong with the Bush Administration.
We are HUGE supporters but we are no mind numbed followers, no matter what the issue. And on this issue the President is wrong. I'll tell you why I think he's wrong here in a minute, But what maybe has upset me more was the threat of a Presidential Veto on this. He doesn't veto, campaign finance reform but he decides to do this. What hat is he thinking.
The President says he doesn't understand what the big deal is. He says he doesn't understand why it was okay for a London company but not one based in the UAE. Surely you are kidding. Would this president have allowed the Japanese or Germans to run port security in WWII. I think he has forgotten that maybe we are in a war. These countries have terrorist ties. Why not let the proverbial fox in the henhouse.
If the President doesn't get the problem still maybe he needs to look around himself and see that the likes of Hannity is agreeing with Schumer. And while on the subject I'm glad for Hannity standing up and being his own person and not just being a waterboy of the Republican. In fact Limbaugh really disappointed me on this today. He was arguing the fine points. We didn't sell the ports. We only turned over operations. Blah blah...talk to the hand dude. If you genuinely can't see how blatantly wrong this is if for no other reason that a PR reason and we should encourage the administration to stop this and stop it now.
The arguments the President is offering are not good ones. This is a no win situation and to threaten a veto just leaves me speechless..
